J.R. Ramirez joins ProNet Group as
Senior Fire Investigator

ProNet Group is pleased to announce that Mr. J.R. Ramirez, IAAI-CFI (V), NAFI-CFEI, has joined the firm as Senior Fire Investigator in its Sugar Land corporate headquarters.  Mr. Ramirez has over seven (7) years of experience in fire/investigations related fields in the public and private sectors.  His experience includes determining origin and cause of over 700 fires pertaining to commercial and residential structures, vehicles, farm and heavy equipment.  He has extensive training in fire origin and cause determination, arson investigations, complex scene management, evidence collection and management, and both fraud and subrogation investigations.

 

Prior to entering into the fire investigation field, Mr. Ramirez spent 20 years working on a 100,000-acre ranch in South Texas.  He then made the transition to Public Safety obtaining a Peace Officer Certification and joining the Fort Bend County Fire Marshal’s Office as an Arson Investigator.  Mr. Ramirez’s responsibilities included conducting origin and cause investigations and working criminal cases for fires within the unincorporated county.  He was later promoted to full-time fire investigator within Fort Bend County, and eventually made the move to the private Fire O&C sector.
