Arturo Chavarria joins Structural/Civil Engineering team in Arizona

Mr. Arturo Chavarria, P.E., has fifteen (15) plus years of experience in civil and structural engineering design and failure analysis.  He has extensive engineering and management experience in the areas of engineering design and the production of construction documentation.  His structural forensic engineering expertise includes investigating building envelope water intrusion, roof damage, foundation settlement, retaining wall failure, post-fire and post-vehicle impact structural damage assessments with repair recommendations, and verifying compliance with applicable building codes and contract specifications.

 

Mr. Chavarria has provided engineering and construction leadership for a variety of projects such as bridges, residential and commercial structures, irrigation and flood control, parks and recreation, site development, transportation, underground utilities and rehabilitation, and water/wastewater.  Mr. Chavarria is knowledgeable in all aspects of the design process from schematics, design development, construction documents and construction administration.  Mr. Chavarria has also worked extensively in existing buildings providing structural engineering services related to load evaluation of existing buildings, and the design of building modification and renovations for new/adapted uses.
