Scenario
A mega explosion and fire occurred in a large 600,000 square foot manufacturing facility involving one fatality and multiple injured persons. The portion of the industrial facility where the fire originated was newly constructed within the past two years.
ProNet Group’s client was a subcontractor which provided construction services to the original building construction. ProNet attended a multi-day joint scene examination with many other interested parties in which Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), knowledge of building construction, fire protection systems, and complex scene management was required to conduct a complete inspection.
The preliminary estimate of the loss were in excess of $250,000,000.00
Outcome
Through the course of the joint scene examination, ProNet’s client was absolved of potential liability.
