CHICAGO - Russ Nummer (CFI, CFEI, CVFI) has joined ProNet Group as Senior Fire Origin & Cause Investigator

ProNet Group announces that Mr. Russ Nummer (IAAI-CFI, NAFI-CFEI, NAFI-CVFI) has joined the firm as Senior Fire Origin & Cause Investigator based in the Chicago regional office.  His territory includes Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana.

 

Mr. Nummer has over twenty-eight (28) years of experience in leading and managing the investigation of fire and explosion incidents in both the public and private sectors.  He has personally conducted or supervised over 1,800 fire origin and cause investigations and peer reviewed over 1,000 fire origin and cause reports.  He has successfully qualified as an expert witness multiple times in several district courts located in Illinois and Iowa.

 

His professional experience includes fire and explosion investigations of commercial and residential structures, automobiles, as well as agricultural and construction equipment.  These investigations have included complex multi-million dollar losses, fraud, product liability, and subrogation issues.

 

Additionally, he is also an instructor for the University of Illinois Fire Service Institute where he regularly teaches and facilitates classes released to forensic investigation to firefighters and police officers throughout Illinois.
