
DALLAS – JIM REIL HIRED AS DIVISION MANAGER/SR. MECHANICAL ENGINEER
and FIRE O&C CONSULTANT
DALLAS, TX (August 9, 2021) - Mr. James “Jim” Reil, P.E., CFEI, CVFI, has more than thirty (30) years of engineering experience including system design and operation, forensic investigations, fire origin and cause analysis, and product and system failure origin and cause investigations.
Mr. Reil is a licensed Professional Engineer in thirteen states, holds U.S. and International NCEES registrations, and is also a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI) by the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI). He has extensive experience in restaurant equipment and appliance design; and, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR). Additional areas of expertise include industrial facilities, commercial, and residential plumbing system design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Mr. Reil has provided expert testimony in trial and deposition. Additionally, he has been published author, and carries a U.S. Patent for HVACR. His unique expertise in restaurants includes design and testing of perishable food storage, preparation, and cooking systems; as well as design and failure analysis of heated, refrigerated, and dual usage commercial kitchen preparation and storage appliances. Additionally, he has restaurant construction experience operating in the role of general contractor and is able to opine on the standard of care for a general contractor or builder.
