FIRE O&C EXPERT GERRY KENNY

ProNet Group announces that Mr. Gerard “Gerry” Kenny (IAAI-CFI, NAFI-CFEI) has joined the firm as Senior Fire Consultant.  His territory includes covering the entire Golden State from ProNet’s offices in Irvine, San Diego, Alameda, and Sacramento..

 

Mr. Kenny has over twenty-six (26) years of experience in the fire service field, with nineteen (19) plus years leading and managing the investigation of large loss fire scenes.  He has personally conducted over 1,700 fire/explosion origin and cause investigations during his career with the Chicago Fire Department, King County (WA) Sheriff’s Office, and in the private sector.  He has acted as an expert witness for fire origin and cause in private and public cases and has qualified as an expert witness in trial in Illinois and Washington.

 

Since 2014, Mr. Kenny has worked in the private forensics field conducting fire and explosion investigations for industrial, commercial and residential structures, heavy machinery, vehicles, marine vessels, wildland, and marinas.  Additional experience includes fire protection system analysis, building utilities documents, and smoke and fire alarm activation.
