Mr. Ghitea has more than thirty (30) years of design and consulting engineering experience including forensic investigations, electrical fire origin and causation analysis, product failures, major equipment failure investigations and condition assessments.  He has twenty (20) years of direct forensic engineering experience covering a range from residential/commercial construction defects, fire investigations, product defects, electric shock, explosions, overhead and underground building systems, lighting surveys, electrical equipment failures, codes/standards analysis, product liability, personal injury, and electrical design. 

 

His design experience includes small residential systems to large systems including generator replacements and large electrical service change-outs. He is experienced in lighting, power, fire alarm and communication design for institutional, medical, commercial, and design/build projects. He has performed analysis of electrical systems for hospitals, military, and industrial facilities.

 

Mr. Ghitea’s background in electrical engineering provided a solid platform for performing forensic services. Over the past nineteen years, he has given testimony at arbitration and deposition for Superior and Federal Court cases. His cases have involved residential/commercial construction defects, product liability, personal injury, explosions and electrical equipment failures.
